TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to BarkHop Studio! These terms outline what you can expect when booking a session, purchasing artwork, or visiting our studio. By engaging in our services, you agree to these policies.
1. Booking & Payments
- A non-refundable retainer is required to book all photography sessions. Your session date is not secured until the retainer is paid.
- Final payment for your session is due on or before the session date. No images will be edited, delivered, or printed until the balance is paid in full.
- Boutique retail items must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
- If you need to reschedule, we require at least 72 hours' notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
- No-shows and cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice result in forfeiture of the retainer. A new retainer will be required to rebook.
- Sessions canceled due to inclement weather or an emergency (determined at BarkHop Studio's discretion) will be rescheduled at no additional charge.
3. Session Expectations
- We work by appointment only. Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may shorten your session.
- Dogs must remain leashed or under control until instructed otherwise.
- If your dog is reactive or has special needs, notify us in advance so we can make necessary accommodations.
4. Image Selection, Editing & Delivery
- Clients will receive a proofing gallery (if applicable) to select their images. Proofs are lightly edited, with final retouching applied to purchased images.
- Clients will meet with BarkHop Studio over zoom or in person for an ordering appointment after viewing their proof gallery.
- Turnaround time for edited images varies but is typically 2-3 weeks after selection.
- RAW (unedited) files will not be released under any circumstances.
- Retouching requests may incur an extra fee.
5. Artwork Orders & Product Policies
- Custom artwork orders (canvases, albums, prints) are final sale once approved. No refunds or exchanges.
- We are not responsible for client-provided images (low resolution, poor quality, etc.) printed through our services.
- If an item arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of receipt for a replacement.
6. Copyright & Usage Rights
- BarkHop Studio retains copyright ownership of all images. Clients are granted personal-use rights only.
- Images may not be altered, filtered, or edited outside of the professional retouching provided.
- We reserve the right to use images for marketing, website, and social media purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing before the session.
7. Liability & Studio Policies
- BarkHop Studio is not responsible for injuries or damages that occur during sessions or studio visits.
- Clients assume full responsibility for their dog's behavior. If a dog causes damage or harm, the client is liable for associated costs.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disrespectful, disruptive, or does not comply with our policies.
8. Promotions, Discounts & Gift Cards
- Special offers, promotions, and discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
- Gift cards and vouchers must be redeemed within the expiration period and are non-refundable.
9. Refunds & Satisfaction Guarantee
- Due to the custom nature of our services, all session fees and product sales are final and non-refundable.
- If you are unhappy with your experience, please let us know so we can make it right!
10. Policy Updates & Changes
- We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued engagement with our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
