Because dog time moves too fast.
“From the moment we walked into the studio in Chester County, Stacey made both of us feel so welcome.
I was blown away when I saw the final shots. They perfectly captured my Charlie’s sweet spirit.”

Want to learn more about a custom portrait session and how you can have artwork of your dog's most perfect face to enjoy in your home?
Whatcha waiting for?
An Investment in your pet and your memories
Your pet should be the artwork you enjoy in your home.
Your pet's custom portrait experience begins with a $400 booking fee, which reserves your session and includes your pre-session consultation, studio time, and the creation of your images and artwork along with $200 product credit to apply to the printed artwork you'll enjoy in your home.
Most pet parents invest around $1,200—some a little less, some more—depending on the artwork they select. Every session is personal, designed around what matters most: your dog, your love, and your home.
From canvas wall art starting at $350 and handcrafted albums starting at $1000, you can create a custom collection that fits both your home and the way you want to celebrate your pet.
It isn’t just about the photos—it’s about sharing a unique experience and creating artwork that captures the feeling of your dog’s presence, for you who loves them most.
Any day is a good day to photograph your dog.
The floppy ear. The toofies on that top lip. The goofy grin that shows up every time a tennis ball appears.
Every stage of your dog’s life deserves to be remembered, from wild puppy days to the slower, silver-muzzled ones. I photograph it all, even end-of-life sessions, which I think of as a celebration of the life you’ve shared. But you do not need a big milestone to justify photos. Birthdays and gotcha days are wonderful, but the quiet days of simply being together matter just as much, maybe more.
Your session will include a mix of portraits and real moments, and together we will create artwork for your home that lets you enjoy your dog’s story every day.
The studio is calm, dog-friendly, and designed to feel easy, especially for pups who are shy or distracted outdoors. It is a place to slow down, have fun with your dog, and walk away with something meaningful that you will never regret creating.
Dogs give us their whole hearts and every moment with your dog is your shared story. BarkHop Studio turns those fleeting moments into lasting art for your home — your dog’s love deserves to be remembered forever.
Now is the best time for your dog's portraits, not tomorrow.
Let's Tell Your Dog's Story
Every dog has a story to tell...
...and every session is designed to celebrate your unique bond in a way that feels just right for you. At BarkHop Studio, your experience will be carefully planned to ensure we capture stunning portraits that reflect your dog’s personality, what you love most about your pup, and the love you share.
“Stacey did an amazing job photographing Loki. He was nervous, but she was patient and able to get many wonderful photos of him. She captured his personality perfectly! I can't stop thinking about this picture. I just love it and don't have anything like that of him.”
— Carol M.
Frequently Asked Questions about a BarkHop Studio Dog Portrait Session
- Do you offer studio dog portraits or outdoor sessions?
-
I specialize in studio dog portraits that focus on your dog’s expression, personality, and connection with you. Studio sessions allow for a calm, controlled environment that works well for dogs of all ages and temperaments. Outdoor sessions may be available for special projects or events, but the BarkHop signature experience is studio-based.
- Do you photograph dogs only or all pets?
-
BarkHop Studio specializes in dog photography and dog portraits, but I am happy to photograph other pets on a case by case basis. Dogs are my primary focus because the studio, process, and experience are designed specifically with dogs and dog parents in mind.
- What areas do you serve for dog photography?
-
BarkHop Studio serves dog parents throughout Greater Philadelphia and Chester County, including West Chester, Exton, Phoenixville, the Main Line, King of Prussia, and nearby communities. All sessions take place at my Glenmoore studio unless otherwise noted.
- What makes a dog photography studio different from a family or portrait photographer who invites dogs into their sessions?
-
A dog photographer and dog photography studio is designed specifically for dogs, not adapted for them. At BarkHop Studio, everything from the session flow to the studio setup is created with dogs in mind. This includes extra time for acclimation, patience-based posing, and an understanding of dog behavior. The result is a more relaxed experience and portraits that truly reflect who your dog is.
- How do digital images and artwork work at BarkHop Studio?
-
BarkHop Studio is a custom dog photography studio, which means the focus is on printed artwork designed to be enjoyed in your home. Most dog parents invest in custom wall art, albums, and fine art prints, with digital images included to share and save.
Dog parents typically spend between $700 and $2,200 on artwork and digital images, depending on what they choose for their home. Every printed product includes the matching digital files, so you never have to choose between prints and digitals.
- My dog doesn't sit, stay or, if I'm being honest, listen very well or at all. Can I book a session for said dog?
-
Absolutely. Most of the dogs I photograph are not highly trained, and many don’t know formal commands at all. BarkHop Studio sessions are not based on perfect behavior. They are paced around your dog’s personality, energy level, and comfort.
I allow time for dogs to settle in, take breaks as needed, and work with what your dog naturally offers. Patience, flexibility, and understanding canine behavior are part of the experience. If your dog is loved, they’re qualified.
- Do you work with shy, senior, or reactive dogs?
-
100 times YES! Many of the dogs I photograph are seniors, shy, or need a little extra time to feel comfortable. Sessions are paced around your dog, with breaks as needed. My goal is to create a positive experience first and beautiful portraits second.
- How do I book a studio session for my dog?
-
Booking your dog photography session at BarkHop Studio is simple and personalized. Whether you’re interested in studio dog portraits, a legacy session for your senior pup, or capturing the early days with your puppy, I’ll work with you to create an experience tailored to you. You can quite literally book your session right here- book now. Once you've completed the booking, I'll reach out to pin down the date with you.

- What are your hours?
-
BarkHop Studio operates by appointment only to ensure every session gets the time and attention it deserves. Whether you're booking a dog portrait session or picking up artwork, I’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
- When will I get to see my dog portraits after our studio session?
-
I know how excited dog parents are to see their finished photos! After your session, you’ll receive your proof gallery within 2-3 weeks. You'll also receive an email at that that time to schedule your ordering appointment to select your favorite images and artwork.
Turnaround time for final edited dog portraits and custom wall art depends on what you order, but most clients have their finished pieces in hand within 4-6 weeks of their session.
- Do you have a cancellation policy?
-
I understand that life happens—especially when dogs are involved! If you need to reschedule your pet photography session, I’m happy to accommodate requests made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled session time.
Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 48 hours before your session may result in the forfeit of your session fee. This includes no-shows, same-day cancellations, and cases where clients are unresponsive leading up to the session.
In the rare case that I need to reschedule due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, I’ll reach out promptly and work with you to find a new date.
Thanks for understanding and for valuing the time and preparation that goes into your pet portrait session at BarkHop Studio!
