The best time for a Puppy Photo session is typically later in the morning or just after lunchtime. During these times, puppies are usually more awake and active, making them more likely to engage and respond to the session. Additionally, this timing tends to align well with their feeding schedule, allowing for a happier and more relaxed atmosphere during the shoot. And because we'll be having so much fun, we'll have a good chance of wearing your puppy out enough for a little snooze too.

To ensure your puppy feels comfortable while at the studio, there are a few essential items I recommend you bring along. Consider bringing puppy kibble or familiar treats, special toys, a comfy blanket, a cozy dog bed, a collar, and a name tag. Additionally, feel free to add any other items you think your puppy might enjoy or that you would like to include in the session. Fresh water will be provided, and I will have plenty of sounds to capture your puppy's attention!

No, your puppy does not need to be housetrained right away. We'll make sure to leave room for as many potty breaks as needed. Additionally, I have pee pads available at the studio if that's been part of your puppy's housetraining routine.

Puppy photo sessions can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, sometimes even two hours if all is going good.  I like to allow plenty of time for breaks, cuddles, and gentle posing to ensure a variety of images and to be sure your puppy is having a fun experience!

Well, let's just get ourselves on the same page right from the get go....your puppy is unlikely to sit still lol!  But that's not a worry at all! Puppies are naturally wiggly, and I work with their energy and personality to capture the sweetest moments. Patience, gentle guidance, and a few tricks up my sleeve help ensure beautiful images.

I kind of expect this with most puppies.  They're not just baby dogs, they're like little baby piranhas too.  And that is 100% okay!  I've done my best to create a super safe space for puppies and dogs alike.  I have chew toys on hand for the puppies that need it and you're welcome and actually encouraged to bring a couple of favorite chew toys from home.  I also have pop up playpens at the studio that I can easily set up for any particularly adventurous puppies who like to hide under sofas or gnaw on chair legs lol!  I'm ready and willing to share my studio with your sweet piranha!

These sessions are designed to focus on your puppy, but if you'd like a few bonding shots, we can absolutely include you! Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

I am the first person to want to include the older fur siblings and human siblings too, I truly am!  But this session is specifically intended to capture adorable photos of your puppy being a silly puppy all on their own.  I'd encourage you to consider booking a full dog portrait session if you'd like to include an older fur sibling or a human fur sibling.  Chances are, with more than just your puppy to focus on, you'll get a lot more photos you'll love and want to display in your home.  

BarkHop Studio is located at 1230 Pottstown Pike, Glenmoore, PA 19343.  I share a parking lot with Ludwig's Corner Hardware and Lani's Ice.  And my studio is just across Birchrun Road from the Wawa on the northbound side of Route 100.  

When you arrive, you'll see there is a lot of space in front of and behind my studio for your puppy to take potty breaks and have a little romp and sniff around during breaks during the session.
