The Ambassadogs are back.
I launched Ambassadogs this spring for Strut Your Mutt. Now I’m bringing the program back for BarkHop Studio, and I’m looking for a small team of local dogs and the people who love them.

It started with Strut Your Mutt.
This spring, BarkHop’s Ambassadogs helped spread the word about Strut Your Mutt. I photographed local dogs for the event and featured rescue ambassadors, too. I loved seeing their portraits out in the community, so I decided to bring the program back and make it part of BarkHop Studio.
This team will help me introduce more people to the dogs, portraits, and local community behind the studio.
Probably your dog.
Big personality?
Wonderful. I want to know the dog you know, whether they’re goofy, serious, clingy, or convinced they run the house.
Can’t sit still?
That’s okay. Your dog doesn’t need a perfect stay or any modeling experience.
Small following?
Also okay. I care more about people who love their dogs and enjoy sharing their experience than a follower count.
What does an Ambassadog do?
I plan to select five community dogs for a six-month team. Each dog will have a short studio portrait session, one finished digital portrait, an introduction on BarkHop’s social channels, and a custom printed 24 × 18 inch Ambassadog yard sign featuring their portrait.
I hope to display the signs temporarily on private property visible from Route 30. The exact location and timing will depend on permission and local sign rules. I’ll photograph each sign for the dog’s family.
In return, I’ll ask dog parents to share their introduction and help spread the word about a couple of BarkHop projects or events during the six months. There’s no sales quota or required script. I want you to talk about your experience in your own words.
Additional digital images, wall art, albums, and the BarkHop Box are optional purchases. I’ll share the full collection pricing before anyone accepts a spot.
A small rescue spot, too
I’m also planning one separately arranged rescue Ambassadog feature, continuing the rescue part of the program I began at Strut Your Mutt. I’ll coordinate directly with a rescue partner so the dog’s adoption needs and timing come first.
What I’m looking for
- A dog parent who can travel to my studio for a January portrait session.
- Someone comfortable sharing their dog’s name and story.
- A family who would enjoy participating through June.

The yard sign is one of my favorite parts of the program. It gives each dog a moment in the spotlight and lets people around Chester County meet the BarkHop team one face at a time.
Sign shown is a design concept. Placement will be on approved private property, outside the highway right-of-way.
